Software Development Engineer in Test

Salary: $115k/year
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Remote

Job Requirements:
Strong Skills Required:

  • Java Programming

  • Testing

  • Selenium

  • Java and BDD

  • Postman

  • AWS

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development and test automation, with strong concurrent coding skills in Java.

  • Experience in test automation using open-source technologies and/or in-house frameworks.

  • Experience in API testing (SOAP and MicroServices).

  • Experience in UI and Mobile Testing.

  • Familiarity with test frameworks like Junit, TestNG.

  • Experience with BDD and/or Cucumber.

  • Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

  • Proficiency with code versioning tools (Git, SVN).

  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for validation.

  • AWS cloud experience is a must.

  • Strong understanding of Scrum/Agile development methodologies.

  • Strong application debugging skills.

  • Experience with Jira or similar Agile process tools.

  • Experience using defect management and test management tools.
